It was a time to have a conversation with the “big boss” who determined our fate. #10, as Francesca also stated, was a very good way to get one.

After asking, my bosses were willing to offer advice so that you could receive one during the next review period. Each industry is different, but, signaling to the boss that you want to move up or take on more responsibility seemed to be the best way that worked in the operations supervisor side.
