Good read! Many people are wanting to work from home these days. I actually enjoy having a mix of both, blogging is a great outlet, but I enjoy being involved with a “day job”.

Both my husband and I have started to work from home part of the time, so it has been not only an adjustment to working from home, but it's a huge adjustment to figure out how to work from home at the same time! We both found that we need separate office space, even if the "office" is just a small desk in the corner. It definitely helps eliminate distractions and increase productivity. I'm still working on figuring out my schedule, though :)

These are all great ideas Rachel! I’ve worked from home for nearly six years, and my wife a little over eight years. The schedule is extremely important to have, as you noted. The big thing many don’t realize is working in an office can provide some semblance of structure. If you need that and don’t actively work to cultivate it at home it can cause issues. The flexibility of working from home is great, but if you get little done you’ll get yourself in trouble relatively quickly.
