houseoftre Diversified income – especially passive diversified income – should be everyone’s ultimate financial goal imo. Some may never make it there, but it’s something to shoot for.

We are probably doing a little of everything right now. I have financial confidence, buy you can never stop learning. Diversifying our income sources is a big goal.

Settle Your Finances I was in a similar spot a year ago. I felt comfortable in my current job at work but knew I had to look for a change. The new job I got has really pushed me outside of my comfort zone and pays more, which is always ideal.

DonebyForty I think #3 is oftentimes overlooked because people feel stuck in their job, company, career, etc. If you are willing to look outside your company or even your division at work you may be surprised what opportunities there are. There is also unexpected opportunities for people who are willing to speak up at work, too.

My main focus is increasing my income so #3 and #5 are the ones I’m working on now. I just received a very small raise at my regular job. I’ve only been there 8 months so I’m happy. Any extra money is good. I am trying to get my passive stream to grow. I have some updates that I need to make with my niche site.

I love tip #3, DC. The regular job for the regular person, if optimized, can earn way, way more than just about any side gig or collections of side gig. There are exceptions, of course. But I think your biggest return is often on simply making sure your 9-5 is paying you what you think it should.
