I mostly use Linked in for my blog so I feel that if someone like me adds Blog to Linked in it can be beneficial in many ways, but if Linked in profile is related to Job then at times it can not be a good Idea, but it depends and changes from person to person and situation to situation. We can not say anything for sure.
