I think number 11 is extremely important to follow, once you get the wheels of debt repayment turning, otherwise you’ll just end up in an endless cycle financial worry.

Thanks, Giulia! I am using my side hustle income to pay off debt as well. It has helped me be able to pay triple the minimum towards my debt!

Thanks, Syed. #3 is also the one I think people have the hardest time coming to terms with, but once you get going, paying more than the minimum really isn’t that bad.

You can do all the refinancing and balance transfers you want, but if you don’t pay significantly more than the minimum, you will get nowhere. That’s what it all boils down to.
